Need to Rebook HM - Rui or Occidental

So we have to pick a new HM which I am devastated about wanted so bad to go to Cabo -

So we are changing to Aruba -

Riu All Inclusive or Occidental Grand ??

Anyone ?

Sad I am not even the least bit excited about it
They both had some crappy reviews

Yes - That is what we were doing in Cabo we like ot drink so we feel it will be worth it just for that

Why not look into Jamica. Other people are rescheduling the HM from Mexico to Jamica.

We stayed at the Occidental in Aruba 2 summers ago and had a great time!! I thought it was beautiful, the food was good, and we had so much fun!!!

I know you say u have read mixed reviews but you will hear mixed reviews about anywhere...you don't have anything to worry about it was a great place to stay!!

Welll I think they are different everywhere - That is where we were staying in Cabo but I heard the Occidental was nicer so I dont know so pissed I have to do this all over again this was the reason booked my HM months ago

I stood at the Riu Riveria Maya. By the far the best hotel I have EVER stayed at. Nothing tops the food, service, people and pools. I highly highly recommend them!

I stayed at the Hyatt so I can only tell you what I saw.

While I have heard mixed things about both properties -- the Riu is newer therefore might be a little nicer. The occidentail is right next to the Hyatt and the Riu is a little further down the strip -- we had friends stay at the Riu and LOVED it but they said it got a little windy because of how it was situated. The Occidential has been there for a while so it must be doing something right!

I know I didn't make it any easier but it is a beautiful island and you will have a great time! I know it su*cks to do it all over again but you will have fun no matter where you are.
