Re: Need To Register!!!!! Help!!!

The BBB in Lake Grove has a bigger bridal registry area with more china than the other BBB's I've been to. I like the Macy's in Commack because it's a lot neater and organized better than the one in the Smithhaven mall.....

Re: Need To Register!!!!! Help!!!

We just went to BBB in Westbury and they were great. We went at 2pm on Saturday so I do recommend going early to beat the crowd.

There were 20 brides in the store when we went, but even with that large number we were still given excellent service by a store associate who helped us with EVERYTHING!! She helped us with the china and flatware and would have done the whole store with us if we wanted, but we just stayed with her for the things we needed and then went out to do the rest on our own.

We didnt anticpate how much time it would take so we did half the registry and were so tired that we are going back for round two next weekend (but a bit earlier so there aren't a lot of other people in the store).

Good luck!!

Re: Need To Register!!!!! Help!!!

We registered at Macy's (Smithaven) for our Eparty and BBB for my shower. Macy's was great because about a month after the wedding I received a gift card for $172 all because of Macy's rewards. And for BBB - I never even registered in store! I did it all online and I got almost everything off my registry or gift cards to complete my registry.

Re: Need To Register!!!!! Help!!!

BBB in Westbury is HUGE and very helpful, that is where we registered.

Also, we registered at Bloomingdale's and Amazon. Amazon is AMAZING because you can do the 'universal registry' which means you can pretty much go to ANY store and registry for a particular item. So say there are sheets at Kohl's you like but your china pattern is at Bloomingdale's, through the 'Universal Registry' you can register for both and it just all goes through Amazon! LOVED IT!

The BBB in Huntington off of 110 is really great! It has a pretty large selection and the people that work there are really patient and helpful.
The Macy's in the Walt Whitman Mall is pretty nice (quiet) - but Roosevelt Field I believe has a larger selection.
I LOVE Crate and Barrel in Manhasset! Its probably my favorite registry!

Re: Need To Register!!!!! Help!!!

Had a great experiene registering at Kohl's!

BB&B is great because they have so much...but alot of people had a hard time getting stuff off my registry. The good news if you return stuff off your registry they give you cash back.

How do you get the Macy's rewards?

When you register with Macy's you get automatically signed up for Macy's registry rewards. You can also get your Macy's credit card hooked up with this account and make even more rewards! It's so worth it!

Re: Need To Register!!!!! Help!!!

I have Macys also. It's convenient because there are so many locations across the country and I have a Macys card, so the bonuses just add up. It's easy to change things online and they give you free stuff when you reach certain points with each of the brands you select. It's definitely worth checking out.
