I lock my doors before bed and if I am home alone. If DH is home with me, the front door is usually unlocked.

I always keep the doors locked. But I do leave the back door open during the day when we are home, the cat likes to look out into the backyard. But I leave the glass door (it's not a screen door) locked.

I ALWAYS lock my apartment if I am home (esp if DH is not home). I really have an irrational fear of someone coming in and assaulting me. I have heard scary apartment stories, so better safe than sorry.

when i'm living at my parents house i really do not lock the doors when i am home
however when i had my own place and was home alone i tended to freak myself out and would lock the doors hwen i was home alone
FH's family always seems to lock their doors. Home not home doesn't matter!!!

The doors are almost always locked when I am home. If DH is home alone, he never locks the door.

FH is nuts with that kind of stuff. . .he has to make sure everything is locked at all times
there have been a few push in robberies in our neighborhood lately so i understand it now
