Need to start looking for a dress

So I want to start looking for my wedding dress but don't know where to start. Can anyone suggest some shops, would like it to be close to queens. Thanks so much.

Theres a fairly new place in Brooklyn called Lotus on Avenue U, they are very nice and helpful in there

I would start at David's Bridal, just to see what type of styles you like. I think there are 2 in Queens.

yes, but just be careful should you choose a dress from there that you order well in advance and go elsewhere for alterations as they sometimes have ordering issues...i would not use them for BM dresses.

The wedding salon of manhasset is on Northern Blvd. Not sure where in Queens you live, but its prob 20 min from Flushing. HTH

I went to David's Bridal and loved their selection and ending up falling in love with a dress there. However, I would not recommend them for alterations!

I highly reccomend Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. It's over by Roosevelt field if you're familiar with that area...

I know two brides who got their dresses in Lillette's in Baldwin and had great experiences there - I went there also to start trying on dresses and they were really sweet and helpful! Not pushy at all. . .plus they have a huge selection

unlike bridal reflections in carle place - the lady was so pushy there . . .
