Need to Vent

I'm so mad i want to quite my job. I know that i can't cause i need the money for the wedding. My coworker is leaving it is just the two of us and she is leaving for mi. In 3 weeks. This means now i'm going to be working more and cover the phones like used to and i don't want to do that at all. I hate the phones. I'm so upset. I already hate my Job right now and now i'm going to hate it even more i'm going to be crying more when i go home from work. I wish it was easier but it is not.

Awww, I'm sorry you're going through this. Hang in there for now but start looking for another job so you'll have something before you quit. Best of luck!

I'm so sorry! i know the feeling.

bottom line: you have to gain a new perspective on the situation. I made it through the last year of a horrific job by removing myself from the situation, and sayng over and over 'this is temporary.' I sort of went numb and stopped getting so emotional over every thing - you can't do that, no matter how bad the job. You are really just hurting yourself. Tell yourself it is temporary, it is not for the rest of your life, and don't let it upset you so much - that's how *they* win!

I totally agree with Bunny. It is ssssoooo hard to do, but once you start your daily mantra, it becomes second nature and you realize, it really is just temporary.

I completely understand where you're coming from. I hate my job as well and just keep thinking to myself over and over, its just temporary but its so hard to do. I guess its just a matter of going numb. I am in marketing and although everyone thinks its such a great job because I work out of my home, doing phone work and cold calling is one of the hardest things to do. I commend you for sticking with it, make sure to do nice things for yourself every night.

Thanks guys you all are a great help. I'm going to start saying that this is just temp. It is hard like yiu guys said. You guys are like my one friends that can help me out like that. I just want to say thank you again you all are the best.
