Need to vent.....

Last nite FH and I went to dance lessons at Arthur Murray in Port Jefferson Station for 1 1/2 hour. I left my pocketbook in his car on the floor of the passenger side. When we came out the passenger side window was smashed in and my brand new coach bag, GONE!!!!
Not only is it a pain in the butt to cancel everything, but I forgot yesterday was a holiday and the banks were closed. So the thief got a nice cash reward that I needed to deposit.
I know it was bad on my part leaving my bag in the car, but honestly there is no where to put in in the studio. I should have slid it under the seat.
Let this be a warning because I know we all do it once in a while. Man it was a cold ride home!

so sorry! were you able to cancel all your credit cards, etc before they charged everything... also maybe think about changing locks if they got your keys and license

It happened around 930pm so I immediately cancelled everything. I had my set of keys at home, so I don't have to worry about that.
But the little things you take for granted. I had to borrow money from FH for today, since I had no cash left and cancelled ATM. I had no makeup to wear to work this morn, had to stop at walgreens!
No cell phone, that is the killer!!!

I guess they were in a rush to not get caught because they just stole my bag. Honestly there were a ton of stuff in there worth a lot more.
First of all its a BMW, I wish they would have taken the whole car!! There were about 6 playstation3 games right on the back seat. FH's cell phone was right in the console!! His rims cost more than anything I even own-lol.
Nothing of his, just poor Lisa's pocketbook-boo-hoo!!
