Need to vent

This is impossible...I've been soooo depressed and worried lately...with owning the home and trying to pay of this wedding we don't have any money to ourselves..i haven't been able to buy myself anything...no shoes, no clothes, no purses, not anything..its sooo hard..We might not even have enough money to go on our hm which really makes me depressed,,,I just needed to vent..its sooo impossible to save money at this point

thanks i hope so...it justs seems to hard...we have both been working like crazy..and if i have to hear one more person criticize my hm im seriously going to flip

'10 bride here ... just wanted to say Dont worry it'll get better. Your happy and thats all that matters, You can always have your HM after your married a few months, Don't let anyone or anything bother you, Just think in a few months you'll be married and with the person you love

dont worry you can do it.....we are the same way and we dont even have a house yet - so at least you have that - you are one step ahead of the game....dont feel bad, there are so many of us on the boards who dont have money to spend so you arent alone! dont let it get you down

im sure it will be all worth it - i never hear anyon say that it wasnt - and august will be here before we all know it - and then it should be less crazy - but i can understand how you feel about not buying anything - i dont have an spring clothes and i cant afford to get anything and i feel like a loser at work, i wear the same outfits over and over, outfits that dont even fit me properly! i just keep telling myself once the wedding is over i can get all new stuff hahahaha i look foward to being a newlywed in style

lol im the same way! i've been wearing old shoes that are falling apart and have no spring or summer clothes..i don't think i will be able to buy any for the hm either..its so annoying..i wear stuff that is 2 years old +...but thanks for the reassurance..its nice to know im not the only one in this situation

Aw, you'll pull it together somehow. And after the wedding you'll have some relief and a little more breathing room. You have your own home and you'll have a beautiful wedding, so your sacrifices will be worth it.

I feel your pain....and I know alot of girls feel this way too. I feel comfortable that we have $$$ for everything but at the same time I am not able to contribute as much as I wish I could....so I feel totally bad buying anything for myself. I am also trying to pay my credit card off so its been hard. Please know that you are not alone and I too have been wearing broken shoes. I had a hole in my ballet flats and wore them like that for a week! Finally a broke down and bought a new pair (cheap ones tho).

It is so hard but it will be worth it in the end! Keep plugging away....only a few month to go...then you can go SHOPPING!
