Right there with ya girl! I look around this one bedroom apartment and think 'how the hell am I gonna have kids here?'. But for now it's all we have so we just enjoy the simple things and, most importantly, each other. Just know that all your sacrifices and struggles now will pay off in the end.

Don't worry... things will get better. It's scary 'growing up' and having all these worries, but you're getting married and that's the most secure feeling you can have.

I feel you on not buying anything. I'm trying so hard to be cautious w/ my money. (I bought a bag I wanted from JCrew on ebay for $7... brand new!) You'll make it work.

This is impossible...I've been soooo depressed and worried lately...with owning the home and trying to pay of this wedding we don't have any money to ourselves..i haven't been able to buy myself anything...no shoes, no clothes, no purses, not anything..its sooo hard..We might not even have enough money to go on our hm which really makes me depressed,,,I just needed to vent..its sooo impossible to save money at this point

I am in the exact same position as you!!! I totally feel for you...i cried the other day bc i feel like i have all last season clothes and i hate it!! FH's mom just bought me a couple of cute dresses and a cute summer coach bag bc she said i've been depriving myself! how nice of her!!! love her!!! But yes, our closing date on our house is june 1st and i don't know how we are supposed to swing a mortgage AND pay for the wedding!! Whatever--it'll all work out!!!

i understand...but i do think it will work out....and in the end when it does it will all feel worth it...what about if you wnet to a really inexpensive store and bought a really cute pair of spring shoes????? believe it ir not, target has the cutest shoes and they are very inexpensive.....i know the feeling of needing/wanting to make yourself kinda feel better and buy yourself a little something....check it out, theres a reason they say that shopping makes you feel better....and trust me on the target shoes....i promise...i hope you are feeling better soon

yep i've totally done that!! i can't afford much else! and thanks everyone I feel better knowing so many of you are in the same situation

I compeltely undertand you. FH and i have our oen places that we own and though I'm selling mine it's still two mortgages we are carrying right now and saving for the wedding. I completely feel your vent. All I can say is that it will get better soon.
