So I went with my maid of honor and tired on some bridesmaid dresses and I really liked the Bill Levkoff style 966. So i sent around an email to my 5 sisters(the rest of the bridal party)and inserted the link to the dress. So my one sister writes back ... 'The dress is pretty however I think strapless is a problem...you have bridesmaids of all shapes and sizes...'
Im sorry I just think that is rude....I wrote back well since everyone is a different shape and size then another dress may pose a problem for someone else etc. You can never make everyone happy!!! Im sorry but I wore the ugly *** bridesmaid dress you picked out and didnt complain about it!

can you add the straps, most dresses you can request for the seamstress to just add the straps to it.

Seriously - I say someone will always complain and you kind of have to know that when you're a BM, it's not about you. . I never even assumed I had a right to an opinion when i was a BM - unless I was ASKED. .
or say if they want to add a strap would you care?

I agree with you. Wear the dress and keep your options to yourself. This is why I am having my BM pick their own style each.

That stinks Kathy I would see if maybe the dress comes with straps. The dress for my sisters wedding was strapless, but it came with detachable spaghetti straps. If that's not an option, then I dunno....you can never make everyone happy!
