Ok first off FH brother is getting married in march, so we were all at his families house yesterday.. his one aunt says to me and FBIL's fiance Im soo exited for xmas this year bc this will be the last year with out you girls in it..no offence.... we were like um what?
second first of my parents are divorced so xmas eve we spend with my dad and xmas day with my mom. Once we are married we will split xmas eve with his family bc its really important to them. Well his ither aunt told me I shouldnt split the day with there family bc its not there fault my family is divorced, I should nhow change it and split xmas day with my dad and mom and make it inconvient for my fam..... I looked at her and wasl ike dsorry cant happen

omg! i am so sorry they said that to you! that's so hurtful! my advice would be to just plan the holidays with your FH the way YOU TWO want to spend them, and his family can just deal with it!

well they always say things when the men arent around.. so FH heatrd what was going in ( he was in the other room) and he comes in and says ' Look Im only gonna say this once when it comes time to decide its our decision only, this conversation ends right now' Of course the they made exuses but in my head I was like yea babbyyyy loll

Well ultimately it's your decision... and you have the last word in that sense. So it's not even worth it to go back and forth with anyone about it. It's awesome that he overheard it and jumped in and immediately put a stop to it without you having to really do or say anything. Sounds like this aunt is feeling bitter over something... but you know.. that's not your problem, it's hers.
