Need to vent (looong)

Need to vent (looong)

Okay, so my two of my cousins are my BM's and the other is my MOH. All three of them are sisters. (I have no sisters). So, MOH and I have always talked about being each other's MOH since we were kids (just like our mom's were each others). We went and bought the BM's dresses tonight and all of them hardly talked to me, said how they wanted such a simple wedding, nothing extravagent (implying that mine is). They never commented when they received the engagement announcement or the STD. I always have to ask them what they thought. Any time I even mention the wedding, they seem to get annoyed. I used to talk to MOH all the time when I lived in NY (and she lives here in NC), now that I haved moved here I hardly see her and hardly talk to her. I still want her as my MOH and the other two as BM's. They have always been my closest friends. BUt I know that I am not going to get any help from them. I don't know. I just moved to NC from NY and I guess I just really miss my friends. A new place is hard to get used to and now is the time I need my friends.

Thank you, I just needed to vent.

sounds to me like they might be a little envious..... don't worry, one of my bridesmaids acts the same way all the time....

ETA: OH...and when I sent my 3 BM's (who live down in FL and are also my cousins) a bridesmaid's newsletter, one of them said 'You have too much time on your hands!' Another friend said 'What are you going to do with yourself once the wedding is OVER?'

Yeah...what you're describing seems to be quite common with bm's...unfortunately

You should maybe host a little get together with your BM's to hang out together ( this would be a good opportunity to gauge if there's anything bothering them.)

Hope things get better!

They definitely seem a little jealous!

Try not to let it get to you...try to focus on happy things....

They will come around eventually!

I am living in MA and feeling really homesick for NY, so I feel your pain with being in a new place!

That's exactly what I thought!! It sounds like major jealousy to me.
