Need to Vent- World Series- Wedding Related

Ahhhh....I need to vent...FI & I live in Boston, and are Red Sox fans along with 1/2 the people we invited to the wedding...Entire family and family friends live on LI and most are Yankee fans...So I just figured out that game 6 of the world series is going to be on our wedding day(if necessary)....I hope that either set of fans, is going to have fun at our wedding, and not be trying to get scores, and watch the game the whole time....Why why why...does the wedding have to fall on game 6...(of course if necessary)

Don't worry - the Yankees are going to win tonight

But seriously, if there IS a game 6 of the series, people will sneak in and out every so ofter to check the score and then report back to everyone else. - Your wedding will not revolve around the TV!!!

With the way the game stands now, you know which group will be happily enjoying your wedding and which group will be watching the TV!

He's joking - I went to a wedding on SuperBowl Sunday - the men snuck out to check the score and then came back to report. - They know it's extremely rude to watch a GAME @ someone's wedding !! It will be fine !!

Maybe as an added bonus, you can pull in a wide screen TV onto the dance floor. Now, that would be the coolest wedding I've been to.

Just kidding... I just had to. Don't worry. These people are your friends and family. I think they can give up, OR TAPE, the World Series in lieu of your wedding. I know it's a Saturday and they are usually day games, but do they do day games in the world series? I've never been to one in the daytime. So, maybe it will be a night game, which means your wedding will be over before the game even starts.

My wedding is the same night, and we actually got an RSVP card that said 'I'm coming unless Boston is in Game 6 of the World Series.' And they weren't kidding.!

my wedding was during the playoffs,so Yankee fans watched the came between the ceremony & reception & then went outside & checked scores on their phone. The bartender had a little tv facing him behind the bar.. .dont' know if any guests asked him about the game.

It turned out ok, but I was so sick of people being concerned they were going to miss the game because of my wedding.

the best man worked into his speach though. that was cute.
