Need uniform opinion for wedding

Okay I know this is Brides Helping Brides but what about Brides Helping Grooms?

I am in the military and I will be wearing the same 'Dress Blues' uniform as the dude on the right in this pic. The best man and usher #2 will be wearing the 'Dress Greens' uniforms such as in this pic and usher #3, my BROTHER (who is not in the military) will be wearing a black tie tux.

Question is, should I have the guys all wear the Dress Blues or is it okay if I wear the Blues, they wear the Greens and my brother wear a black tie tux? I just feel odd with the different colors but people say it's normal to do that with military involved. I also feel kinda bad that my brother has to look different.

Welcome. There are a few grooms here ( although I think they are all married now) , so don't be shy about asking questions.

Your pictures didn't post, but from what you described, I think it will look fine. You don't all want to be in Dress blues, with your brother in a tux, it will make him look like the groom. You should stand out & then your brother beign in a tux will look fine.

perhaps you can have your brother in a three button navy blue suit, so it will be similar to your groomsman.

since technically your dress greens and blues are suits, not tuxes, that may help coordinate it a little better.

I agree with some of the others that you wouldn't want it to look like your brother is the groom, so have the other groomsmen wear their green dress uniforms.
