It's your wedding, you can do it any way you want!

Anyone can walk her down. Maybe if she has a brother, he could do it. Or someone else that you're close to but isn't a GM.

ETS: Actually a GM could do it too.

Have a male cousin or uncle walk your mom - My cousin had her father walk down her mom.

you could also have both your mom and dad walk you down the isle.... it's fairly common to do these days...

I don't know if you would like that or not, but it definitely resolves the issue!

or if your mom is and independent woman, she can walk down herself.

my brother had one of the groomsman walk my mother down the aisle for his wedding ( my dad was stuck wrangling the ring bearer LOL)

however my mother is a witch and thinks she should have gotten some higher honor than just some random groomsman.

Good question, I have the same dilemma. The only single male guest is one of my cousins, but we aren't super close or anything, and I kind of feel like my mom deserves a special entrance (but I'm sticking to traditiona nd only having my dad walk me down the aisle) so I dunno what to do.

Maybe you can walk down with your mom on one side and your dad on the other?

My mom had her godson, my cousin, walk her down.
