So, I posted earlier that I had a toothache and was going to the dentist. I have one wisdom tooth left. It came in okay so I never took it out. Well, it now has a cavity so that's part one of pain. Part two is that it's rubbing against my cheek and I have a sore that I can't even see. It's irritating the gums all around it. So, the dentist gave me a prescription rinse, but I have to get the tooth out asap with 6 weeks to my wedding. Oy! I'm having a hard time finding a time when there's nothing going on. Next weekend is my bachelorette party so that certainly won't work!

You will be fine.. I had my wisdom tooth taken out not long before my wedding and I was fine that day.. I took some motrin and didn't feel a thing.. Get it done now!!!

i still have mine, But its not that bad i've heard!! My FH didn't take any of his meds when he had his out, so you'll be alright your a trooper!

I had all 4 out at once and was eating whatever I wanted 6 weeks later... go soon, and you'll be totally fine!

Yes definetly do not worry about it. They give you so much painkillers and can even put you to sleep to take out the tooth. You dont feel any pain once the pain wears out.

one tooth out is not bad and you'll probably find yourself relieved as you won't be in pain. Try to do it as soon as possible so you arent worrying about it needlessly

Fh just had 2 teeth pulled yesterday! He's a little sore but he's okay. He took tylenol and they gave him antibiotics so there would be no infection. Do it now so you can enjoy all the upcoming festivities!! You'll be fine!

you shouldnt be in too much pain after having it taken out since it came in fine. u should be fine 2 days later.

for the pain!! you'll be ok, i promise, i had all 4 out at once and i did it on thursday and was back to work on monday. if u smoke, DO NOT smoke the days after the tooth is taken out or u will get a horrible infection, this happened to a friend of mine. also just be sure to have lots of ice on hand for the pain. but really i was only in pain for the 1 day- the day after. i was fine the day the work was done since they pump u full of novacaine. also 3 days before my wedding my teeth started acting up, i went to the dentist and he said i was fine (he did x-rays) and it was probably just stress which caused me to grind my teeth more than usual. and wouldn't u know the day after the wedding my teeth weren't bothering me??

Every one has different experiences but my advice is do it now rather than later. I had all four taken out 5years ago, my situation was bad they were stuck under my jaw bone so they needed to break the jaw bone to get them out. It looked like some one beat me up I was a mess for 2 weeks.I hope that yours isn't so bad but take care of it now. Good luck
