Need your advice and opinion girls!

Okay, here is my situation:

I have found wedding invites that I absolutely am in love with. The problem is a friend of mine did them for her wedding last August. Now, we only have 2 other common friends (latina511 is one of them). No one else will have known that she did them for her wedding only these two people. Do you think it would be okay if I did them for my wedding too??? I really need your honest opinions here. Do you think I should call her and ask her or at least let her know? Or do you think I should just go ahead and use them w/out telling her? I know she probably wouldn't mind..she is not weird or anything like that. But I just want to do the right thing....I have looked all over high and low for other invites but my heart is already set on the ones she did...Here is a pic.

If you are close firends-then I would call and let her know. Otherwise, if you really like those invitations I think you should order them. The attention to this type of detail is only noticed bycurrent brides or recent brides. Make yourself happy-i'ts your day!

Unless you design your own, someone else somewhere will always have your invite. If it were me, I would probably tell her just so she didn't find out when she gets it.
If it were the other way around I would think it was cool that my friend had the same one, obviously she would think I had good taste.
They are absolutely beautiful by the way!! I see nothing wrong with using the same ones. I'm sure your friend will be fine with it.

I would def let her know. She will probably feel honored.

I am a believer in getting what YOU want. Invitations are very important- they are your guests first impression of your wedding.

Those are absolutely beautiful!!!

I used Encore as well- they have great quality stuff.

I would ask her first. I don't foresee it being an issue since she had her wedding already but she should know.

I would call to let her know, but I wouldn't ask her permission. I think she will feel honored and impressed by your sensitivity (at least that is how I would feel). You don't need her permission, especially since her wedding has already taken place (totally different story if you were snaking her and sending yours out first).

It would be a good idea to pass it by her first. If you dont think it will be a problem then it shouldnt be. Especially since no one else would know that they were the same. Present it to her like you did to us - that you are love these invitations and they are the perfect ones for you!

I'd call & tell her that you loved hers so much, you are using them. I am always flattered when I get FM's because people loved my flowers, dress etc.

Well Ang you already know my opinion about this since we talked over the phone last night.

As I told you, use them, they are beautiful and they are what you want. After you have ordered them call our friend and let you know what you have done so she knows before the invitations are out.

i love those invites- i want to use them too. j/k. they are so buetiful and unique and i dont think it would be offensive at all to use the same invites. people wear the same bridal gown for gosh sakes. i think your friend will feel flattered. it is your wedding day and every detail should make you happy and if those are the invites you want get them!
