Need your advice (need to make an asap decision) concerning my even/uneven bridal party

OK. MY BP has 6 BMs Anna, Ashely, Nicole, Gina, Debbie, and Tara

FH has 5 Gms - John, Justin, Keith, Justin, and Tom.

Our 6th guy had to drop. I had everyone partnered up and now one of my girls (either Nicole or Tara) is partnerless...

Anna - Justin (both tall)
Ashley - John (MOH and Best Man)
Justin - Debbie (hehe 5'4 and 5'0)
Tom - Nicole (shes tall but shes wearing flats - hes tiny too)
Gina - Keith

now Tara is left alone.....

I really wanted an even BP, but the 6th GM Jason had to drop bc wife will be giving birth around that time!

Problem is FH isnt really close to anyone, and I was pusing him to ask someone...and now i feel horrible. He has 2 cousins and cant ask 1. Our brothers are both Gms.

Should I go with 6 and 5? How can I work it? He might ask someone that he might be asking just to appease me, and Im not sure how fair that is to him, just for the eveness...u know? HELP!

I say just leave it....
Its not that bad....
Why not have 2 girls to 1 guy?
Im kinda in the same dilemma....
I have 6 girls and he has 7 guys....
I dont have another girl to ask...
And he is probably going to ask another friend to be another guy...
So now it will be 6 girls to 8 guys and I cant figure out which girls to walk to with 2 guys.. It doesnt work out for me...
But itll all work out in the end.....

You can leave it uneven. Have the girls walk in alone and at the reception have them dance with their dates rather than their BP partner

We just went from an even BP (5/5) to an uneven one (5/6). I don't think FH is going to add a 6th guy.

The only change is we might switch from having them walk down the aisle in pairs to having them walk alone. I think it will still look good in pictures -- it will be 6 BM dresses, 6 tuxes (with FH) + me!

i have one MOH and 4 Best Men. and then like 6 little kids. I'm the queen of uneven bridal party!

I had almost the same situation one of my BM dropped out because her son is really sick. SO now I have 4BM and 5 GM. Going down, I am having all th guys escort Mothers and grandmothers and such. Then I am having the girls all walk down seperately. Then to walk back, the first 2 guys (coinsidentally FHs brothers) are walking down the MOH. WHy don't you just have one of the guys walk with the last 2 girls? I've seen it done before. Don't worry about it.

The BP doesn't HAVE to be even. I have 6 BMs and 11 GMs. Don't ask someone just to even it out. Just have 2 girls walk with one guy, the MOH can walk alone.

Don't worry..my bridal party is uneven.....3 girls and 4 guys. I don't want to ask someone that I don't really want, and your FH shouldn't either. it will be fine

I would do 2 girls to 1 guy. I have an uneven number, its 14 total but theres 2 MOH's and 1 BM and 1 ringbearer. Its not a big deal, I wouldnt worry about it at all.

I would just go with the uneven BP or if you really want a even BP then see if your FH wants to ask someone else.

I started out with an even BP and then had an uneven BP (one of my BM dropped out) and then I ended up asking my FSIL to be a BM... she was always there and ever so helpful with the wedding plans so FH and I decided to ask her.

If I hadn't then I would have just had one guy walk two girls down.. no biggie imo.

I called FH and spoke wot him and told him that unless he really has someone in mind for another GM to leave it alone...i told him I talked it over with the board...(he was happy u sided with hijm lol) and that I am fine with it and he was happy...relieved...

I would do as the others suggested--either pair 2 girls with one guy or have the girls walk down alone....

sidenote: just realized you're another HWC bride!! Guess I probably won't see pics of your wedding before mine though since it's only 2 weeks later, but still YAY!

I have the same problem 7 girls and 6 guys. I had one girl drop out and then she decided to be in it again so my FI doesn't feel like he wants to ask anyone else. A friend of mine had a uneven bridal party and we just had one guy go with 2 girls and it was fine.

I wouldn't worry about it.. have the 'tiny' guy walk in with two girls, and then at the reception, like someone mentioned, have people dance with their dates (if they have 'em) and then the rest can pair up. I'm sure it will turn out great, I wouldn't stress.
