Need your creative expertise-shower gift

I have been working on a shower gift for a year. Every holiday I picked up household decorations (placemats, window decorations, figurines, etc.) to give to someone at their shower. I have a large shopping bag full of goodies. I figured she has never lived on her own so she doesn't have any of this stuff and I know she loves to decorate...I figured I would give her a start on every holiday.

I need a way to put it all together and present it...what do you think I should put it in (besides a normal wicker basket) and do you have any ideas of poems or something witty to put with it so she knows what I am giving her.....

Since you are giving her a basket full of household items why not decorate a laundry basket and put the items in that.

Maybe enclosing a little calendar with a poem and decorating little bags for each holiday...

I've seen this done before, and I love it! I have seen it in 4 big huge tupperwares - one for each season...

You can alos make it a game and give clues to what it is...
But I also Like the poem idea...thats a really cute gift

This idea is great.
This would be quite large, but you could put them each into its own bin (storage bin) and color coordinate with the holiday (and maybe decorative write the holiday name on the pin). Green or red for christmas, pastel color for Easter, Oranger for halloween. (if you can find the colors)

What a thoughtful gift! I love it-may steal your idea for the next shower I'm invited to.

I really like the idea of enclosing each holiday's decorations in some sort of Tupperware bin. The nice part is that your friend will have something to store the decorations in after the holiday is over.

Maybe tie a bow around the bin and save a small item to affix to the box...to identify what's inside.

Include a poem on each-'open me in December, when Christmas is near, when your thoughts turn to Santa and snow and reindeer'...something like that?
