So ... My future hubby and I are planning to have an Engagement BBQ for just family and the bridal party. I am looking for some ideas for theme. Sort of want something different from the luau, picnic feel but definitely summerish.
We were thinking about 'Taking the Plunge' ... Anyone have any other ideas? Or decor, invites, favors we could do?

You could do beach bags, beach towels, sun screen, inflatable beach ball as favors. Would everyone be down with dining on the grass on a blanket? that would be so fun and get those red and white checkered blankets! Check out costco online they have bbq looking invites.

Im not sure I would be down eating on a blanket but I bet the kids would LOVE it! Thanks for all the ideas. I am wondering if etsy has any fun things! Ive been a wee bit stressed lately!

You can do message in the bottle invites. I think those are so cute and different. I am still thinking though. I like the idea of beach bags and sunsreen for favores thats really cute too

Anyone else have any ideas? We found a great BBQ catering option so we're going to book that. Im excited but slightly overwhelmed
