Need your help - good thoughts!

Ok ladies,

FH and I have been looking for a house for like 2 years....we are going to be looking at 3 houses in the next two days and I REALLY want one of them. Its a bit expensive but its in a great area and exactly what we were looking for.

Keep your fingers and toes crossed for us so that our fustrating 2 year search can come to an end!!!!

Good Luck! I hope you get the house.

I feel your pain. We have been looking for a house since September and the process is really painful. I just made another appointment to see ANOTHER house. It is so fustrating! Houses are too expensive!

Always helps to hear other couples are as fustrated as we are. House prices are ridiculous right now and there isn't any sign of it slowing down. Paying for a house and a wedding is so stressful.

I thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. I will update you all after we see all 3 houses!

Those are EXACTLY the areas we want to look in...absurdly overpriced....hopefully the prices will come down by the time we get serious (after our Sept wedding).

Believe me - I feel your pain. We must have looked at over 16 houses before we even saw anything we would bid on. The one thing to remember though is that the mortgage rates are so low right now, that you can afford something more expensive. And if you are buying a starter house that you won't be in for more than 5-7 yrs (which is what we did) the ARM rates right now are unbelievable (about 5%). Our house payment will be less than our current rent!!! Good luck and try to have a good imagination when looking at houses!!!
