I'm soooo lucky! Since I have this year off and will start a ridiculously gruling schedule once I'm a medical resident at Staten Island Univerysity Hosp in July - DH and I are going crazy planning vacations!!!
So far we did Jamaica in Dec
We're planning a roadtrip to FL in March
Los Cabo, Mexico in April
Cali and Vegas in May!!!!!
So here is my question ladies - what are some must see sights in Vegas? (I've never been) What shows do we absolutely positively have to see? What restaurants are amazing? What hotels did you love?
Thank you for your help!!!!

Honestly there is so much to do there entertainment and food wise. I would say any of the Cirque Du Soleil I heard the Beatles one was really good at the Mirage.
I loved the show at the Escalaber its like Medieval Times it was really fun my FH loved it he was like a little kid.
My favorite hotel to visit was the Wynn and the Venetian. We made it to almost every hotel just to see inside each is so beautiful.
I hope you have lots of fun!!!

Hey there! I went to vegas a couple of years ago. We saw Celine Dion (i'm not a huge fan), but the show was awesome. I'm not sure if she's still performing, but it's defintately worth seeing! The belliagio is a must see too! My fav hotel to hang out in was MGM Grand. It's very modern, has great restaurants and lounges.
Have a great time!!!!

Hey. I'm the vegas queen, been there 7 times in the past 6 years. It's totally awesome and I never run out of things to see & do. You have to check out all the hotels, they all have something different to offer. Fountains @ Bellagio, Gondola ride @ Venetion, the lobby & Parasol cafe @ Wynn. Volcano @ Mirage. Eiffel Tower @ Paris. I could go on.
I've stayed at MGM, NYNY & Mirage. They are all wonderful!! I think you need to stay at least 5-6 days to see enough.
Oh and Ka & O are great shows!!

Hey I lived there for a year and a half...here are my recommendations: (PS - I am going back next week!)
Shows: O (Cirque show at Bellagio)...this is a must see or Mystere (Cirque show at TI)
Other must sees: Bellagio Fountain Show Bellagio Botanical Garden
Food Eat at Fix (at Bellagio, although alittle loud there!) Crepe Place in the Paris...to die for Top of the World (rotating rest on top of the Stratosphere) Also - MGM has awesome restaurants...Nobhill is awesome but so are all of them!
Club Tryst at the Wynn (beautiful...my fav) Tao and Pure ok
For a drink Parasol Down at the Wynn (go after 7pm for some funky shows!)

OMG there is so much to do in Vegas I don't know where to begin. Be sure to check out all the hotels because each one is like being in another city. As for shows it depends on what you like. Go to Vegas.com or LasVegas.com and you can see all the shows that are available for your date. The last time we were there we stayed at the Monte Carlo which is a sister hotel to Bellagio. Stayed at Bellagio the first time and it is beautiful, but expensive now...you can get some of the same quiet elegance at Monte Carlo for a less expensive price, plus their pool area is beautiful as well. We are thinking of going again this year the first week in August because we never get tired of Vegas. I looked on line and Monte Carlo has a new restaurant now which seems to be a new hot spot, but there are so many clubs you are sure to find one you like. The last time we went on a side trip to the Grand Canyon which was beautiful and this time we may go to Hoover Dam. ANy way you look at it Vegas has everything and you will have a GREAT!! TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You def ARE soo lucky! Vegas is one of my fav spots and when I introduced my fiance to it (before he was my fiance) he surprised me with a trip there for my birthday... then he loved Vegassooo much that we returned for trip number two only 2 weeks later! We extended our trip both times hehe bottom line... WE LOVE THE VEGAS!
oh and our bachelor/bachelorette party will be there as well!! Ok sorry to babble...
So We adore Mandalay Bay...regular Mandalay is awesome BUT we LOOOVE THE HOTEL @ Mandalay. The Wynn and Venetian have fantastic rooms as well. It depends how much you want to spend...check for packages for sure! Someone said check out the Bellagio Water show and the Gardens- YOU MUST!
Restaurants - GO to Spago at Cesear's Palace and you have to check out the hotel in the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It is more expensive but it is sooo worth it! It is delicious and extremely romantic...esp if you get a table by the Bellagio window and you can watch the water show while you eat!!! I could go on and on about Restaurants in Vegas... Shows- I saw the cirque du sole show 'Mystere'- It was fabulous!! I was like a little child hanging over the railing! Also my MOH saw 'O' and 'Love' and said both were amazing also!
Are you interested in nightlife and/or clubs? If so I have some advice and a few hookups...let me know

Re: Need your help ladies! :)
We really liked the buffet at Paris and also the steak restaurant there - its directly under the Eifel Tower.
Bellagio has good, strong drinks :)
Fun to just walk around and see all the different hotels, they are all decorated so uniquely and they are gorgeous.
Only casino I didn't like was NY, NY. And we ate at the Luxor (what were we thinking) and it was beyond terrible - STAY AWAY.
You will have a great time! Enjoy!!!
