Need your help, where did you get your veil?
I have the day off tommorrow for election day and so does my mom. We were going to use it to look for tiaras and veils, but just my luck the flea market is not open on Tuesdays. Do you know of any other good (preferably inexpensive) places to go and look?

Are you looking for tulle or silk?

Would you be willing to consider online sources -- lots to be saved that way?

Check out Lidia's in Copiague. If you are near Brooklyn, check out Kleinfeld. Not sure where you are...

Re: Need your help, where did you get your veil?
I am in plainview, and dont have a lot of time today so brooklyn and copaigue are a little out of my way. I saw some on ebay that i like, but wanted to go some where to try it on, I am a very visual person. I am going to try the commack wedding center cause my mom wants to look for a dress(we are not buying it there) you just dont need an appointment. If you think of any other veil places that would be great.

Woould you consider trying them at a brick and morter store and then ordering based on your prefs online?

Re: Need your help, where did you get your veil?
I'm getting my veil made by Sew Deb. It's silk tulle and including labor, material and shipping, it's costing me less than $100 to have it custom made to my secifications. This veil would probably have been about $450 in the store. I highly recommend her. She also does regular tulle veils if you're more interested in that.

Re: Need your help, where did you get your veil?
I got mine online at veilshop.com after trying on a few at a store nearby (I live in VA.) I second what Deb is saying...find a place to try on a few styles than, especially if you have a simple one in mind, look online. Veilshop was great and I love my veil. I've also heard good things about SEWDEB!Welcome New Vendors
