I've ordered about 10 samples & Im going crazy - everything is so sh|tty! The two items I narrowed it down to is the mikasa votive bc you can use it as anything or the LOVE coaster - but im thinking the LOVE is kind of tacky
I voted for the Mikasa because I would find more use for it. JMO

I pic choc/ candy. I think they are the most well-received. Everyone pretty much eats, where as some of FH's single friends wouldn't have use for candle/ cheese board.

Are you willing to spend a bit more on favors? if so, you can get nicer quality things like a cake spatula or a platter.

I am so with you right now, except for the fact that I have no idea what I'm using. I def say the mikasa, I love it! And I feel everything out there for favors is junk. They are like item you find in the dollar store. I want to do wine, but not sure if I can afford it. Good luck to you!

i know i ordered samples & i thought these salt and pepper shakers were going to be so cute - meanwhile they were the biggest piece of crap - they looked like plastic chess pieces covered in aluminum to look like stainless steal - CRAPOLA with a capital C - my FH was like i wouldnt have paid a quarter for that and through it across the living room

Chocolate or some cookie or candy apple.... At least people will eat them I always feel even if you do spend 7 people toss them or dont use them or they end up in the donation bin.... Even I have to admit I have done that to some favors

i really like the votive, but if you think it's crappy, then maybe you should do chocolate. i got the love coasters as a shower favor, and they've just been sitting in the pantry since oct.

I know thats why Id love to get somethign useful but i feel like anyway you look at it its crap! and one person will love it another will throw it out

Gabbie - I hear you, i feellike all favor are crap and are going to wind up in a junk drawer or inthe garbage. I dont want to buy something and someone is tinking ...look at this cheap piece of sh!t. We are doing cookie cutter, bc hey, who doesnt ;like cookies!
