Need your opinion for all those who ever went to Vegas

I want to plan a weekend trip there since Husband has another week vacation in October. But I just want to go for 4 days. Well to the point I want to know if you have been there what hotels look worth reserving for. I never been there and would like to have fun.

I been a number of times & stayed in all of the following hotels

MGM
NY NY
Rio
Circus Circus
Luxor(sorry name escaping me)
Tropicana
Harrahs

I loved the Rio hotel the best. All rooms are suites & you even have a window from your shower to the living room. The windows are floor to ceiling & they have a rockin' club upstairs---only negative they are a few blocks off the main strip.

I also loved the MGM although it is huge.

NYNY, the rooms are tiny & it is noisy w/ the rollercoaster going around & I wouldn't recommend it.

Only went once...and I stayed at the MGM it was great! Great pool and spa

I have stayed at the MGM and the Wynn

I lovedddd the MGM, the pool area is awesome, sooo big, the hotel is really big but there is a lot to do in it. Its in a great location also. The rooms are nice.

We've stayed at Paris & Bally's and would highly recommend both!!

I went once and stayed at Paris and had views of the Bellagio water fountains and the rest of the Vegas skyline.

Mandalay Bay is great...I would avoid the Excalibur...too many kids

Definatly Venetian. You can priceline it and get a good rate. It's higher than most places on the Strip, but every room is a suite and they are just amazing. I took FH there for this 30th and we had such a great time and just LOVED Venetian!

i have only stayed in the excaliber (castle) Very kiddie.
but i woulod say Mandalay bay

we've only gone once -we stayed at harrahs.

if we go again the hotels we'd like to try are the mirage, treasure island or paris.

I would say most of the hotels on the main strip are awesome, and offer great things. The only thing I would suggest is staying more towards the middle of the strip. THe last time we went, we stayed at NY NY and it was a trek to walk down the strip every night to get where the action was. It all looks so close when your up 50 floors off the ground in your hotel room

I stayed at Mandalay Bay,too. It is the only hotel with a manmade beach.

i stayed at caesars and liked it but it was kind of far from the other hotels on the strip

i liked bellagio or mandalay bay

Romantic: Bellagio/Venetian
Fun: Mandalay, Caesars, MGM
Crazy Time: Hard Rock/Palms
Good Deal: NY,NY, Aladdin, Paris, etc.

Any which way you'll have a blast and spend ZERO time in your hotel room!

I've been to Vegas many times and I have only stayed at Monte Carlo. Its in between NY NY & Bellagio. Compared to the other hotels, its casino is smaller, but its really nice. Its not flashy like some other casinos. I love it, especially now since they opened a Starbucks, I love it even more

Same here, but it was very nice and IMO had the nicest and most fun dealers

Hi Veronica! Vegas is so much fun. You'll love it. I've been there a few times and have stayed at the Bellagio, New York New York, and the Venetian. Bellagio is my favorite but it's also very $$$. They have a new one open called Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa which I heard was beautiful. Paris is also wonderful. I would do a search online and see what rates you can get. October is a great time to go because the weather is soooo nice then. FM me if you need more details or info.

hi! we went in january and stayed at MGM... LOVED it!! so nice, and everything is right there... lots of great shopping and restaurants right there in the hotel.
we stayed in the ' west wing' rooms, which have recently been redone and are very cool- very ' city' with a small TV built right into the bathroom mirror, a Bose radio, and ultra comfy bedspread and mattress
BUT, the only thing is, like somebody else said, i probably would have liked to stay more towards the center of the strip, because it was a WALK from MGM to a lot of places we wanted to see on the strip. so for that, i think paris looked cool or maybe montecarlo.
we went there for a wedding that was at the venetian, and it was GORGEOUS there, too... but i hear its pretty pricey....
