Need your opinion on the dress I bought...

I the dress. (Mom doesn't)

Only prob - it's a lot of dress

Do you think the dress will swallow my FH? He's about 3' taller than me and lean/athletic...

Here is the dress in white. Too poufy?

Tell me your OPINIONS. If you hate pouf, hate ballgowns, love beading, etc.... For those who met me at the shower you know kinda my build..

No pics of me in it. Soon, I promise.

Im not really a ball gown dress type of girl but I think this dress is stunning.

I was not comfortable in Poufy/ elaborate / beaded / dresses.... My dress is very simple / straight. I think it's whatever you feel comfortable in... It is a GORGEOUS dress & if you feel gorgeous in it- that's a sign! If you're glowing in it- FH will glow next to you

Because it's ivory. And it has a bustle in the back that looks like a pick-up and she doesn't like pick-ups..

it doesnt have to be bustled that way though and its just one point doesnt look like pick ups

It's really stunning! I love it.
Also like someone else said you can always have some of the crinoline taken out if you feel it's too poofy.

I love it! I do not think it's poofy at all... and I don't think it would overwhelm Alfonse. The 'pick-up' in the back doesn't even LOOK like a pick-up! And I'm partial to ivory... I'm wearing it

Do what makes you feel comfortable... YOU have to wear the dress...

The dress itself is bustled. I don't know how it would look if I took it out.

There is something about this gown that I love. It is absolutely stunning. I dont think it is too puffy it has a nice shape to it. How did it look on? I know our mothers inputs are important, but it is truly how you feel about the gown.

i dont think its too much dress for you...that dress has a petitcoat underneath so you can probably get one with less poof if you really want...i think its an absolutely stunning dress and would love amazing on you.

me too! I posted yesterday on your thread about selling it, but I love it! I hated ball gowns for me, but I still think it's SO PRETTY....it really depends how you feel in it. Mom will get over it! My mom's wedding dress had a green ribbon on it (in the 70's...she was ahead of her time haha) and her mother apparently HATED that, but I didn't hear that story until I this Thanksgiving....so obviously, she got over it! Your mom will too!

i love the dress jenn and i dont think its too poofy! i think its just the right amount and they can always take out crinolin (sp?) i think it would fit your frame beautifuly!

honestly i like how its bustled, its simple...i would never look at it and think of a pick up dress

but you have to love the dress doesnt matter if we all do, i think its stunning but that doesnt matter on your wedding day and how you feel
