My wedding is basically a day time wedding. The reception is from 2-7, late Sept, so it will probably just be getting dark out when it ends. Do you think it's weird to have some votive candles on my tables? I always thought of candles for a night wedding, so I'm not sure!

u can still do votives.. it won't do anything but it does look pretty

Not at all! I love candles. I recently wen tot a day wedding and they were on the table.

Hi i checked the sunset calendars for your date, they say 7:20pm on Sept. 7... so, there's probably a good 40-60 minutes of 'dusk' prior to that? I think they'd be very pretty, perhaps you can request from the banq. manager that the wait staff light them as soon as the sun starts 'dropping'?

I am having an afternoon wedding in mid November and I am doing tons of candles and a fireplace (well, maybe I wouldn't do a fireplace in September), but I say go for it with the votives!

I would use candles. Candles are romantic and not designated for nighttime. I think it will look lovely!!
