Need your opinions

Ok so I have this like 3rd cousin (I don't talk to that side of the family and was never close with them at all) I am friends with her on FB though. She is getting married and I was shocked when she invited me to her wedding, (Pretty sure I was a B lister) I cant go because I already have another wedding I'm going to so I RSVP no. I just got a shower invite which is the same day as something else I have so can't go to that either.
Now, I never even thought about invited her or any of the family to my wedding. We already have a huge list and are trying to cut it down.
Is it rude that I don't invite her to my wedding shower now?
I feel really awkard!
I was planning on just sending her a gift off her registery as a shower/wedding gift. Is that ok? What would you spend?
Keep in Mind I have never been close to this side of the family, Its my dads cousins kid.
Also, my dad had a stroke and is in a nursing home so hes obv not invited or would be going and they never visit him or kept in touch with him.

Sorry so long.

IMO I would def send a gift. I would send a $30 or $40 gift off the registry.

I don't think you need to invite her to your wedding. If you invite her you probably have to invite more of that side, and if you already have a long list, then you shouldn't feel obligated. She probably doesn't have a long list and thought it would be nice to invite extended family.

Thanks, I was thinking of sending either something off the registry or a $50 Giftcard. Thats ok for shower and wedding right? I don't have to send a seprate wedding gift?

IMO, I dont think you need to invite her. If youre not close to her to begin with, then its no big deal. I think a $50 gift is more than enough and is very thoughful on your side considering that youre not going to either the shower or wedding.
