i love the sparkler idea. i want to do that too. d you think it would be silly to do it in october? my fiance loves fireworks and i think he would love it. what does everyone think?

My vote is for sparklers!! It's so appropriate because of July 4!
We're probably going to do that seeing as though our date is July 2. We're thinking of having guests hold them up during our first dance, but I have to check whether the temple will allow that.

We like the sparklers idea too since our wedding is a few days after the 4th of july, as for rose petals instead of making cones you could just have a basket full of them and have guests take a handful as they come in.

I love the sparklers idea, but if are afraid to have your guests use them as you walk down the asile you can give them as a favor or part of a favor. You can include a book of matches with and wrap them together with a bow.
I know people who used bubbles and they didn't get stains on their dresses, but I guess you never know.
Some florists will give you the rose petals with your flowers. So ask them frist. You can always put the petals in a small organza bag or something like that instead of the petal cones.

we had bubbles and they didnt stain my dress at all. I liek rose petals best, but we were not able to use them at our church.

I would do Sparklers!!!!
I wanted to do them but I was told it was a no go with church AND reception hall- so just double check!
If not I would do rose petals- they have the silk ones because I was told that the real red petals can stain dress too- but i am not sure if this is true so ask other brides who had them
