Needing some love

I've always read about it happening on this site and always thought of how awful it would be for something like that to happen to us. We suddenly lost my FHs grandfather today, almost a month before our wedding and my FHs birthday. I am so many emotions at once. He was going to sign our marriage license and give us our rings. It's just... what can you even do at a time like this except cry, try to think about the good times and appreciate all the people in your life that you love. You really do never know.

aww I'm so sorry for your loss!!! I. wish I could tell you it gets easier! my wound it's still fresh too. my grandmother passed 10 days after my engagement! wedding planning has not be easy but she would have wanted me to try to enjoy it! I'm trying, you try to do the same abd enjoy your day!

So sorry for your loss. I lost my nana 3 months ago & its still really hard. For me, I remember how lucky I was to have as much time as I did with her & that she wanted to be reunited with her husband & that helps me get through the tough times. Sending love your way!

I agree with vppjzv, there's nothing to make it easier. I'm still trying to plan a lot of aspects of my day without my dad here. Just remember how much he loved you and that we're always here to send some love! (hugs)

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss.. Time will ultimately heal, but like others are saying you need to remember the good times you've had together. Maybe there are some inside jokes you all had that you can bring forth at the wedding or any touches you can add so that he is there in spirit with you.
