tropicana and showboat are both affordable and beautiful! borgata is gorgeous but expensive.....ceasars has great shopping theres also the bus service they have that cheap to get around so you dont have to stay at the hotel that has the club you want to stay at

I would advise you to stay away from the Hilton...a much older (60+) crowd their.
I would highly recommend Harrahs. It's not on the boardwalk; however, they have an amazing pool area which turns into a club at night on fridays and saturdays.

Borgata is great, but just an fyi on price, we are staying at the Trop for mine and the rooms were only $25 less than the Borgata for a weekend in April - $400 vs $375.

I love Borgata, nice young crowd and the Hotel is very pretty and modern. What we did for DH's cousins birthday was they slept in the Trump hotel but they hung out at the Borgata its only a 2 min, drive. Theres also a shuttle bus that goes there.
