My mother AND his mother are feeling sad that we are not including them as much in the wedding planning. Our fathers seem not to care.
Anyone else experiencing this??
We are purposely not asking for their input until later because their input (aka nagging) will be limitless.

I feel your pain, FMIL is like that... most everything is done now and I live in another state so it hasn't been too tuff limiting her comments.. and FH is good and reminds her it is OUR wedding not hers! she already had 3 (her own, her daughters (all FH remembers is her saying 'I dont want that, I dont like that, I, I, I') and her other son's (which i heard, 'I have my ways of getting what I want'))

I'm just the opposite. My mother actually doesn't seem to want to be involved at all. I've asked her to come with me to all my appts, asked her opinions, and she barely wanted to go dress shopping with me. Amazing! My FI mom on the other hand is such a sweetheart and always asks a million questions and gives me her advice and opinions but I feel I'm not including her enough but I don't really know how to now that most of my vendors are booked.

My mom is the opposite as well. She does not care about anything related to the wedding. I get really disappointed when I try to discuss something and all she says it 'That's nice' or 'Who cares'

mine are kind of the opposite too, i gotta catch my mom at the right times to talk to her about it which bothers me and my FMIL wasnt interested but seems as though shes starting to get more interested..maybe b/c its gettin closer??

My mother is pretty involved - probably because I make her involved. But FH's mom is sort of a hermit and doesn't leave her apartment very often. So it's hard to involve her...when I do see her she does ask questions - but I'm not sure how else to involve her.
