Anyone ever take a pregnancy test that came out negative but you were still pregnant? I tested a few days after my I missed my period and it came out negative. Now, another day later and still no period. I feel funny - but that could just be pms symptoms. This ever happen to anyone? I'm so nervous! Thanks

Just go to your dr Meghan and let them put all fears aside. The mind can play some terrible tricks on you. Hope the answer is what you want it to be

I had a BLOOD test that was negative and 2 days later I had a BFP home test....the blood test was in the middle of my cycle and I just didn't have enough hormones yet to show a positive result. So, yes you can be pregnant and I would suggest re-testing in 3 days.

Re-Test in a few days! I have always been told that there can be a false negative but NEVER a false positive....Because of that 'Stuff' that appears in blood and urine tests when you are with child!

I have read that HPT can have a false negative result more often then a false positive. I would definitely retake the test in a couple of days and go to your doc.

I had a false positive one time!! It said I was pregnant when I really was not. Super scary!!
It is actually much more common to have a false negative than false positive.

It does happen. Wait a few more days & take it again first in the morning. (You get the best results then)

Thanks for your help everyone!! I got the big 'P' this morning. It was disappointing but also probably for the best since who knows if we'll be in our house by the time I would have had the baby - Stressful. Thanks again for all the info and support - You guys are the best!
