And the reason for that is because I can't dance AT ALL!!!! I'm completely tone deaf. I dance like a drunk horse! Even slow dances...I don't know what I'm doing. I know you let the guy lead but for some reason my feet just go where they want to. Any advice?

how about taking a few dance lessons? FH signed us up with Arthur Murray and we've not only been having fun, but now we won't look like complete spazzes! haha

I've looked into dance lessons many times....they're not really in our budget right now....things are way tight.

SInce you mentioned not having the budget for dance lessons, i would just dance around the livingroom with FH every night from now until the wedding to your wedding song. Just get comfortable dancing with him to that song and then it will all work out
We took a few lessons and even with those we were still like 'yikes' and made sure to practice every night so that we would be comfortbale and then when the big moment came everything went fine.
Plus, I think that no matter what you do people will just say 'awwww' they look so great together and not really notice what type of steps you are doing...

I am the same way! Our 1st dance we literally went in a circle.....didnt move! Mind you my dance floor was HUGE!!!!!!

I agree with the other poster Practice Makes Perfect! And everyone will oooh and aahhh no matter what you do. Just have fun.

dance lessons are $$$, but you can buy a slow dance DVD on amazon.com for about $20.... it helped FH out tremendously. He couldn't dance at all either, and now he's comfortable with the basics...

I'm nervous too... especially since we are taking lessons, so people might expect alot. But I am also tone def...can't count to the music at all, so FH usually has to count for me hehe... buuut... he ***** at leading so sometimes we have a bit of... uhm... miscommunication, and he tries going one way and I start going the other lol
