Nervous about my shower

so i am almost positive my shower is sunday. i am so excited, but really nervous. i hate attention. i even turn red when people sing happy birthday to me I know i'm going to be red all day

i just hope i'm not a blurbing idiot

maybe i should have some wine before i go

my shower was last saturday - i was soo nervous - i took a shot before i left -
let me tell you - i felt soooooooo stupid and i didnt know but when i got there my sis (also MOH) who is a year younger then me decided to give a speech --- (didnt know you give speeches at showers) anyway i was soooo embarassed - you have no idea - for the first 40 minutes I thought Oh Man I feel sooo red --- but then the next 2 hours flewwww byyyyy you have no idea. So just relax, have wine, breathe, and ENJOY it because its going to fly by so fast.

mine was like 35/40 women with kids included
i know i am going to be all day on 4/19/08 - thank goodness FH will be there to take share the spotlight

I totally feel your pain. I had mine last weekend and I hate hate opening gifts in front of people etc. I definitely 2nd your call for wine, it saved my life Good luck!!!
