so i am almost positive my shower is sunday. i am so excited, but really nervous. i hate attention. i even turn red when people sing happy birthday to me I know i'm going to be red all day
i just hope i'm not a blurbing idiot
maybe i should have some wine before i go

I am so shy in most cases so I know how you feel- once I started to talk to people and eat and drink some wine I was doing ok.

Think about it this way.....
Showers happen 2x in your life....Wedding and Baby....they are very special times
and remember its not negative attention, its positive!!!!
Maybe you can speak to mom or a BM about softening the 'blow' when you walk in, to something thats more comforting to you!
