nervous/nauseous-help!

Ladies!!!

Getting married in under 2 days and I cannot shake this nervous/nauseous feeling!! I'm not nervous about being married, more nervous about the actual wedding, walking down the aisle, making sure everything is perfect! Any tips to ease my mind but more importantly my stomach?! I want to be able to enjoy every minute of the day without worrying about my upset stomach! TIA!!!

Do you have any over the counter meds that work for you? I have anti nausea meds from my doc due to migraines. I wonder if you could put in an emergency call to your doc and get a script?

Saltines and gingerale always helps my tummy. Try to eat light stuff soup etc the next day or so. Also bath and body works sells this 'anti-stress' stuff. There is shower gel, body mist, pillow spray, lotion candles etc. That always helps me. I try to stay away with meds. Hope this helps :) also something cold on your eyes/sinuses.

I hate to say that I'll probably have to take anti-anxiety medication on our wedding day. I'm already an overly anxious person. I'm not at all saying this is the answer, but maybe it'll help a little?

Me too! I def will. A small dose so that I don't get sleepy. In fact, I will probably take something the night before so I will sleep. The slightest thing will keep me up all night and I want a night of good sleep before the wedding!

do you have a day of coordinator or a banquet manager ? Give them a call to go over any last min. things ... are you a list person, if so go over it again, just make sure you got all those little details taken care of :)

If you get nauseous from anxiety, make sure you have WHATEVER helps you with you at the wedding. I was anxious before the wedding, but everything went fine ... until mid way through the reception. We were taking family pictures and I wasn't feeling great. Then I went to the bathroom and as I was leaving, I suddenly needed to throw up. I did. In the past, I've thrown up from anxiety and the only thing that help was prilosec the day before or alka seltzer at the time - neither of which I had with me. My DOC and the venue had similar products, but none of which have ever helped me. I spent the rest of the night periodically throwing up. It didn't ruin the night, but it would definitely have been nice not to have done that.

so, over a year later I am just seeing all these posts!! Turns out that I had that horrible stomach virus!!!! Luckily, it passed before the wedding and an added bonus was that I lost like 3 pounds! But, a few of my guests also got the virus! Including my MIL! Luckily, she didn't get it until towards the end of the reception and was able to enjoy herself most of the night! Thank you for all the kind words and for thinking of me!
