nervous...St. Lucia

We are leaving for St .Lucia tomorrow morning...i am really nervous about Flying and about the stupid bus ride to the resort. I just looked up some reviews and some of them are really not good! Ladies who have been there or to Sandals, please ease my fears

I didn't mean to scare anyone about the bus ride! Yes it s*cks, but when it's over you're in paradise!!

Also we didn't have any issues at all with customs, we were there less than 5 minutes going in and coming out.

We were supposed to leave at 9:30am but we got delayed almost 2 hours bc of an electrical issue (?!?)... so we ended up checking in to the hotel around 8:30pm.

On the way home our flight was delayed again (stupid AA) so we were supposed to leave around 4:30pm... we ended up getting home around 11pm.

i've just read the bus ride is bumpy so if either of you gets carsick maybe just pack some dramamine! You'll be ok!

The food was good! I wouldn't say it was amazing but you can def find things to eat.

For breakfast there's a buffet or you can get room service. For lunch there's either the buffet (which has a lot of choices) or there's Josephine's where you can get either pizzas or breakfast foods (the crepes are really good!)

And then for dinner there's 3 or 4 restaurants to pick from. It helps if you like seafood - one restaurant is all seafood (it's on the beach) so you have more choices that way.

We ate at Kimonos and La Toq at the Regency and liked both of them, and I heard that the Tex Mex place there and The Pier at the Halcyon were good too.

I'm glad that we're talking about this. We're going to St Lucia and FH gets really car sick. I mean if anyone else drives he gets sick so I have to make sure we bring meds!

Lauren - I hope you have a great time and can't wait to hear all about it!!
