So yesterday after I saw someone talk about www.netbride.com I went to their website for a quote on my bridesmaid's dresses. The expensive store wanted approx $250... the commack wedding center wanted $175... netbride.com $137!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can those of you that used this business please let me know how it went for you?

You can take the quote to commack and see if they will match it that what I did and RK bridal beat the price by 5%

I have also heard good things about netbride. However, you should also try pearlsplace.com. It is a wedding shop in Louisanna that beat netbride's price by $50!! And the owner replied really fast.

Hi you should also try www.houseofbrides.com. I received my dress over the weekend and it was perfect. I had no problems what so ever!!! the only thing I didn't like is that when I called to check on my order I got an answering machine, but they always called back. at the bridal salon my dresss cost $1500 talk them down to $1350 at www.houseofbrides.com $700.00 wow!!!! check it out.

I also contacted them about ordering my dress, the boutiques wanted $599, they quoted me $349.00. They seem like a reputable company, and I think I am going to order my dress from them.

My BMs got their dresses at Commack Wedding Center they were on sale for 131...netbride had them listed for 133...go figure that one!

My dress was $900 in stores, netbride quoted me $475. I went with netbride!! Also, my BM dresses were $150, netbride quoted me $98!!!

I took the first price that they gave me and went to RKBridal and they matched it and took another 5% off. So I took that back to netbride and they matched RK.

Same exact dress. Same quality, color and style. I had gotten a bridesmaid dress from RK years ago and it was the same story. Those places can charge so much less because they really don't have much overhead. Macy's is just overpriced anyway. The same dress was still much less at the bridal shop in Patchogue.

For those of you who used an internet site, how did you do the measurements? Also, do you have seamstresses yet? I do not know a reputable seamstress and really want to get measured and order my dress.

When you guys got your dresses at netbride or from anther internet site, did you first try your dress on at a real store? I would like to use netbride or something like it but I can't find the dresses (dress type) I like in the stores. So I don't want to order one without trying it on first.
How does it work if you want to return something??

I went to several bridal salons before finding the dress I wanted. Then I contacted Netbride for a quote. They were $180 less than Bridesave and $350 less than RK Bridal. I am sure it was even more savings if I went to an upscale salon. Here my current Netbride experience: I just got an email with the UPS tracking # for my wedding dress from netbride. It is coming on Friday- 3 weeks ahead of schedule. It only been four months since I ordered and its a Maggie Sottero which generally takes a long time. I will let you know how it turned out on Friday!
