Just wanted to let you know what happened - I was looking for better prices for the Jim Hjelm bridesmaid dress that I wanted - when I sent an email to netbride they called me directly b/c they told me that some of the more 'exclusive' designers they couldn't give the quote over the phone. OK - so the quote they gave me was $60 less than what was in the store so I was very excited - but then I asked how much for extra length and for a plus size - I know that I have one each of those. They told me $80 for extra length and $150 for plus size!!!!! That just did not sound right!! I ended up ordering from a store that charged $20 for extra length and $20 for plus size!!!! I couldn't believe it! Maybe that's how they make their money!!!

Maybe it is for that designer. I need extra length for a Bill Levkoff dress and it only cost 20.00.

check the website. it tells you how much each designer costs for length size etc. bil like the last post levkoff is 20 for length and i think 20 for size.

Wow, I was only quoted $20 for extra length from netbride for a Jim Hjelm.
For $6 more, were going with Burton's - works out being easier for my 2 local BM's, for alterations.
