I attempted that once - we happened to be in the store because FSIL was getting fitted for a BM dress...

she picked out 3 that she liked and they were all about $500. She FREAKED out and YELLED IN THE STORE - '$500, MY GOD THATS FRIGGEN RIDICULOUS! FOR A DRESS!?! FOR ONE DAY?!?!'



I guarantee she'll be at JC Penney the weekend before the wedding.

My shopping experience with FMIL was actually good, and I was dreading it. Tried to get FH to take her.
She bout the first dress she tried on, fit great and looked good on her.
Hope this is a sign of things to come .........

I'm Right there with you!!!! I decided when I first got engaged that I would not put myself through that with my FMIL, as she will drive me INSANE!!!! lol!!!

I hear ya!!!! That's y I didn't invite mine to ANY of my dress trials! And when I saw her dress to my FBIL's wedding, I won't criticize. We don't share same tastes, so I don't want to deal w/ the unnecessary headache...let my mom look the bomb!
