I am soo sorry for your FH..It makes my blood boil as I honestly think the LIRR is totally mismanaged.. I ride every day into the city (10 years now).. I pay 354.04 a month for the privilege of poor ontime service on my branch... I feel for the young people coming up and working so hard, and having to suffer. I wish they would REALLY audit them and make them accountable...Managment really needs to do better... I had a commute from H**L yesterday as they made us go passed Jamaica and they KNEW we couldn't proceed due to switch problems, but instead of letting us out to get another train line, we sat.... an 1.5 hr commute took 3 hrs.. The decision makers are just not making good ones.... I also think some watchdog groups need to watch them carefully as remember the retirees who claimed disabilty awhile ago? That could have been prevented if someone was watching closer.
Big hugs...Hope he gets another chance with them...Maybe things will turn around and maybe people can demand some changes... They are so important to our safety and our day to day lives as commuters.

I am so sorry...FH works for NYC transit ( also MTA) we worry too...so sorry!! I know how hard that test is...FH took it many years ago.
