Thanks Stephanie - I am STILL going - come ON - this is a once in a lifetime trip!
But I just want to know that it will be ok....

I'm flying to Vegas the day after you leave for Thailand. I just checked the website for my airline and it says that NO liquids are allowed in carryon luggage. That means, no shampoo, hand cream, water, makeup, shaving cream etc. If you take medication it MUST be in the bottle from the pharmacy with the label showing your name, you can't use one of those day of the week dispensers and carry it on.
Check the website for your airline for any additional restrictions.

You will be fine.I feel the same way now as I did after 9-11. Basically that this is going to be the SAFEST time to fly because they are back on their feet (security people). A ruffle in their feathers is going to ensure your safety even more so don't worry, its not good for the baby Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liza, if you are worried, I'll go for you.
You should be OK...just don't try to carry on anything you aren't allowed to...check the airline websites...my boss lost his luggage and Delta has a disclaimer and message up (I admit I didn't really read the article) on their site about what's not allowed in carry-ons.

You'll be fine, have a great time. Is it ok to fly this early in the pregnancy? I can't remember what the doctor said when I was pregnant.

DH and I are flying tonight. I'm usually a scaredy cat when it comes to flying, but I'm realitively calme about it because IT IS the safest time to fly with all this heighted security.
