did anyone pay less than 12-1300 for their airfare?? i am paying off the Hm tomorrow and still need airfare........any hep will be great thanks!!

I don't remember exactly, but I do know that we got a great sale price, and it was around 600 - 700 per person.
I think 1200 is a GREAT price.
We flew AA ... to San Juan, and then flew into airport closer to the Grande.

We probably paid a little more than the rest of you because we are doing the direct flight from JFK but we are not flying back to NY (and have to do a connecting flight going back).
1200 (assuming its for both of you) sounds like a very good price though.

yeah i was looking at AA its lik 1265 or somethign i was hoping to get cheaper but doesnt look like thats gonna happen......we dont mind taking the drive cause it will be about the same ammount of time as stopping in san juan......
we had to cut off 3 days of our HM to cover our airfare so we r going 7 nights instead of 10.......

keep an eye on the prices... We booked through Sandals.com on Friday and I checked out the prices today. the air went down by $121 so I called up Sandals (They said they would adjust the price if it goes lower just as long as its 46 days prior to departure). We are still on the same flight but the price was adjusted.

we put the HM on reserve last june and we were too far out to book airfare........so now we have to boo kthru the airlines ugh!! thanks for the help!

We just paid for our airfare amd it was $1300 for both of us. We're flying AA. Our travel agent kept an eye on the prices and let us know that they were going to be rising soon b/c of the cost of fuel.

We went for the same amount of time .... I honestly think 7 days is plenty!
Since DH & I are soooo limited in the scope of things we eat (we're totally *not* adventurous eaters at all! ), we were getting tired of the food by day 6 or so.
I would definitely recommend doing the candlelight / beachside dinner while you're down there. We had ours on the last night, and it was awesome!

We didn't do any of the other excursions or activities because I was in too much pain at the time (not fun to spend your honeymoon on pain killers!) ... so that's the only recommendation I can offer
The italian restaurant at the Grande was nice ... but the lasagna had some shredded carrots in it
