Well she wants to be there with you. Understandable. But she also need to realize (as well as my mother needs to) that it is YOUR DAY and YOUR DRESS and she needs to accomodate you more not the other way around.

welll hoenstly.. i made an appt for a fitting for tomorrow cuz its convenient for my mom.
im more flexible than she is, and tomorrow is her last day off.. so we made it for tomorrow even though im nowhere neaaar ready to go for fittings.
it really depends on the situation and your schedules.

i know, i didn't mean that i'm not trying to work around her schedule. i meant that if i'm not available to go, it doesn't make sense for her to go shopping for my dress without me.
