Do a white jersey, with pink stripes.... etc.

Do exactly what you have planned, but use your colors instead of theirs.

everyone knows they do this now...maybe we could make the jerseys at the tables in pink & white, w the players name and number?!?!

Ok here are my ideas, and I don't know if they'll destroy FHs vision or not...

You could make the Jersey's in your wedding colors. I think they'll still be identifiable as Mets AND your theme. Maybe you could leave the Mets Blue, but make the black Silver and the Orange pink??? Or maybe you could make the orange that you use a muted shade of orange?

You could also make the Jersey's black and white, though I don't think this is nearly as nice.

Do them black and white.......=)
See thats why mets stink. orange blahhh..just kidding (or not)

its still pink and white, and with both views you can see it is for the mets.

My HONEST opinion is do the normal colors. It's the one thing your FH is psyched about. My FH is the same way - it takes a lot for him to get all ME like with the wedding...but when we found our invites - he LOVED them..so we're getting them. Not everything has to be matchy matchy...contrast is a good thing! It's a very small thing to not match..and it'll make him very happy...

I'm sorry to be negative - but we're HUGE sports fans...and a jersey with names and stuff in pink on the back could be any jersey in the world. The colors are what make the Mets jersey look different than the Cubs... If we were talking Yankees - the pinstripes would help differentiate it...but if you go Pink - you may be losing the thing that makes it be the Mets...

Again - i'm sorry...just don't want your FH to blindside you with this info...

but if we have players names on the back...

i don't know i'm gonna have to talk to him about this...

i don't even know how we would do it...
