I posted on the 2014 board but figured I would try my luck here too since most of you probably have your venues booked.
Here's what we are looking at: - looking at a guest list from 250-300 (we both have huge families!) - looking into March, April or May dates of 2014 - would prefer a Saturday night but also looking at Friday. - would like something on the water.
My fiance and I are just at the stages of gathering as much info as we can so we can narrow down some venues to go check out.
I was wondering if anyone had any pricing info on the following venues. I know prices may go up slightly from year to year but we're just trying to get an idea of what we can afford before we go visit these places, fall in love, and then can't afford to do it.
Bridgeview Yacht Club Chateau La Mer Lombardi's on the Sound Thatched Cottage
Thanks so much for any help!

lombardi's on the sound is going to be small for you, i went there and saw the room set for 200 and it was tight.

I love Thatched Cottage (obviously lol) but I think it may be too small if you are having nearly 300 people :(

I definitely recommend checking out Bridgeview. They are big enough to hold a party your size, are one wedding at a time, food is second to none, and they have been amazing to work with. They have a significant price difference between their Friday and Saturday night prices so if you are looking for a better bang for your buck and don't mind a Friday date you might be able to get a better deal that way. I love it though and think its worth every penny! Let me know if you have any specific questions I would be happy to answer!

Not sure what 14 pricing will be for Bridgeview but I was quoted $120 for Saturday night and it includes everything!

If you're still interested, check out the Venetian Yacht Club. They got hit pretty hard by the hurricane, but have done a lot of renovations and are re opening this weekend. I was quoted a little less than $100 pp (all inclusive) for a Friday night in March. They can definitely accommodate 300 people.

We are paying just under 100 dollars a person for a Saturday night in March for 2013 but we booked in 2011. They should be posting new facebook pictures on this page this weekend since they are reopening.

Thank you all for your responses! It's all very helpful!
I'm happy to hear that Bridgeview is pretty reasonable in price and would hold the amount of people we have (this was kind of my first choice).
And we're definitely going to check out Venetian too for that price!
And you know what, I wasn't thinking about hopping to the other side of the bridge, but Marina Del Rey isn't a bad idea to check out either - thanks for suggesting that!

Quick question - when you say 'All-Inclusive', what exactly does that include in the price per person?

If you live in the Bronx or close to the Bronx, Marina del Rey is a beautiful place too!

Château Le Mer is really nice, my best friend had her reception there in 2010, I think she paid $75pp for a Sunday. Not sure if they can accommodate 300+ though. May be very tight.

I would definitely say The Venetian Yacht Club. They have everything you are looking for.
