One of my best friends just gave birth to her second son (10lbs 9 oz - ). She lives in Seattle and I would like to send her a present for the new baby - but I am wondering what to send. She is very down to earth and not at all materialistic - the things she likes are all very practicle. Any ideas?

I love to give books! Nursery rhyme books, Dr. Suess, ABC and 123's.... things that she and her baby can do together, and they'll keep them for years! I've done this for every expectant mother I've known and they've all said that my books are the best things they've gotten!
