I'm new here. We just got engaged about 2 weeks ago and want to get married June 2014. So we have looked at a few places & I have my heart set on Flowerfield. Anybody have any good negotiating tips for when we go back?
I just got married there and let me just say this...my wedding was absolutely out of this world. Just ask for everything you want and they are more than likely to give it to you. They are really willing to work with you and even more so after you book as far as having extras thrown in. Good luck!! You will NOT be let down with them!! That was the only other place FH and I looked at together and we loved it! Had we not fallen in love with Floral Terrace, we would have booked there. I can't remember the woman's name that we met with, but I know that she was willing to knock the price down if we eliminated some things from the cocktail hour. It's really your preference - the bridal suites in that place are AMAZING!! Good luck!
just make sure you get it in writing!
If there is a particular hall in competition with them you can mention that. Like well for that price so and so offered x or y. Or we're torn between your two places I'd prefer here but they have us a better rate..etc. it works because most venues will want to win you over, as long as your being realistic about the price/ deal you can always talk them down lol
