Hello everyone!!! i had originally planned on my wedding being in LA, but finally decided it would be best to get married in New York since I will be moving there in August to be with my fiance.

i feel so very overwhelmed yet excited at the same time. i could use advice about everything!!!

i am so happy there is a forum like this just for ny... i was on the knot and this one is sooooo much better. look forward to getting to know you all!!

one thing i need help on asap... i am having a pretty small wedding 75 people or so, but i still want a wedding planner. do you all have any recommendations? whats the average cost for a wedding planner?

la is huge so i guess you have to ask where in la. i live in rowland heights, and i'm moving to battery park city.

i've lived here my whole life, so the thought of planning a wedding in ny where i don't know anything about venues, vendors, etc... while all my friends and family are in la - daunting!

glad i found this messageboard cuz i need all the help i can get!
