NEW BRIDE- NEED HELP WITH EVERYTHING

WHO TO USE FOR FLOWERS, LIMOS, PHOTOGRAPHER, BAND, DJ.. any suggestions.. who is the best to use???

'best to use' is relative. everyone has different wants, tastes and styles... what are yours?

that would better help people give you suggestions.

i just need suggestions who to use.. i dont want to get ripped off and have my flowers and pics look horrible.

i like things simple and differant not strangly differant but more modern and simple..

I just do not want to use a bad vendor.. looking for referrals i guess

East wind is having a showcase this sunday. Usually they have some bands and djs, photographers and florists there for you to meet with. Since you booked there, you get in for free!!

For photographer shop around and see who you click with. They will be with you all day, and you have to make sure the person you choose is someone that won't get on your last nerve by the time the day is done. You also want someone whose style of photography reflects what you want your album to look like. We saw 7 and booked The Velvet Studio in Huntington.

Band vs DJ is a personal (and financial) choice. We knew we wanted a DJ. We met with one - Vinny from High Voltage Sounds, and booked him on the spot.

I'm the last person to ask about flowers. I looked at more than a dozen before finding someone I could afford that could take my very inarticulate description of what I wanted and create a thing of beauty. I ultimately went with Nancy at Open House Country in Stony Brook. She made a sample that was IMO, simply stunning.

For limos, we went with Serentity (East Wind house vendor). I met with 4 companies total. Eddie at Serentity was the best!!!!!! Great personality, lots of fun, guaranteed to be my driver on my day, and sure to make me laugh if I start freaking out. His price was also the best.

What I did was search the boards and pick my top three or four vendors I would meet with based on reviews and pictures. In regards to flowers: I chose Flower Michele, I requested to meet with John who is phenomenal. Photograher/Videographer: I went with Duet. There are a ton of brides who are using both of these vendors Limos: Royalty. DJ: Elegancia Entertainment. But this was my taste I really recommend you meet with a few vendors and see which ones really give you that 'Special feeling'.

You should ask your venue, what vendors they work with. Personally I got a package deal with Douglaston. It's much easier (for me)to have everything all in one place

I would totally recommend Wedding One for pics. They do a good job. When I show people my engagement pics. They all say they want to do there pics over. They're a little expensive but I would say spend what ever for pics because thats all you have to show.

great thank you so much.. SO I hear Flower Michele is a good one.. i will make an appointment.. I dont know why .. but I am so worried about the flowers LOL.. I want them to be beautiful but simple and elegant..and what I ask for..
